400;\">I moved to New York from a small island in Greece in 2002. Upon arrival, not knowing anyone, or even speaking English, I found my way to my guru, Sri Dharma Mittra.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under Dharma&#039;s guidance, \u03a5iannis was able to transform his life and purify his body and mind\nto reveal his true spirit. After continuous guided practice, in the daily classes with Dharma for\nover 10 years, Yiannis Mukta Om took the knowledge of teaching yoga.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2013, after 10 years of dedicated and devoted daily practice, I have taken on the duty of sharing Sri Dharma Mittra's teachings around the world. A dedicated practitioner of Self-Realization as imparted directly to me by Sri Dharma Mittra, I have embodied the deep inner strength and playful nature of his guru.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yiannis Mukta Om continues his journey as a living example of the true essence of yoga. He is\nentrenched in moral precepts, able to share all the tricks of asana, competent to impart\npranayama techniques, and can direct the student to move beyond the senses, mind, and\nintellect to deeper states of meditation and realization, which he has cultivated by being at the\nside of Sri Dharma Mittra for many
