Pregnancy is a beautiful phase of female nature and birth is the culmination of this experience. The pregnant woman learns to consciously surrender her body to the fetus and to expand other aspects of herself to welcome her baby. The changes in the body - especially in the hormonal system - are many and the symptoms are also many and varied.
Yoga during pregnancy (Prenatal Yoga) offers relief from all physical problems, stress and anxiety, improves and facilitates the sleep process, keeps the body strong and ensures the best possible pregnancy and delivery, whatever the current state of the pregnant woman's body. Most importantly ,however , it helps the pregnant woman to become aware of her needs, to listen to what she really needs, her incredible potential and strengths, as she gets in touch with her inner power, with the very essence of motherhood, this miracle of nature.
At the same time, postnatal yoga can restore the body to its original state, even treat problems that may arise after childbirth, while it contributes significantly to the restoration of hormones to normal levels. Which helps the mother to keep both her mental and physical state healthy. Postnatal Yoga is one of the most important tools that every mother needs and a breathing boost that will help her cope with any condition and any difficulty she faces with her baby.
In personally experiencing this journey of pregnancy, I realized this amazing opportunity that is given to the pregnant woman to actively participate in the creative energy of the universe. I realized this energetic magnificence that exists within the feminine nature. All of this was my inspiration, so that I took up Prenatal yoga and was trained by Sue Elkind.
