Alexandra Palantza

Director

I am Alexandra Palantza, a certified yoga teacher with over 1500 hours of training. I was born and raised in the city of Athens. After graduating from Athens School of Fine Arts in the field of sculpture, my path led me to Thessaloniki where I completed my postgraduate studies in Museology at the Department of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. That's when I first met yoga, which immediately caught my interest.

 

My willingness to explore this practice of self-awareness led me to Anahata Yoga Academy and to my beloved teacher and mentor Elena Mouratidou, with whom I continue to study with devotion to this day. Next to her I completed a series of trainings in the field of yoga (200hr Yoga & 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Courses), and I have been participating for a number of years in the basic trainings of Anahata Yoga Academy as a mentor (Anahata 200hr Yoga Mentorship Training) where I develop and cultivate my teachings abilities, and I realize every year my deep love for education. During my course I came in contact with and was trained by the most renowned teachers worldwide both in the field of yoga and meditation, while now I specialize in Sleep-based Meditation techniques and relaxation techniques, teaching in educational programs and group classes, and undertaking personal sessions.

As of 2020, I am involved as an instructor in all the core yoga programs of Anahata Yoga Academy and as the director of the Academy, I coordinate all the programs produced by the excellent team of the Academy. I continue to evolve every year by attending experiential trainings and programs of personal development and self-improvement with an undiminished interest in modern trends in the field of yoga, incorporating all tools and techniques into my classes and personal sessions. My goal is to encourage people to realize their inexhaustible inner power to create the life they desire!

Gentle Yoga Flow & Yoga Nidra

A combination of conscious movement in flow, breathing and deep relaxation, through yoga postures that cultivate flexibility and soften tension. The class concludes with Yoga Nidra, a meditative form of deep relaxation in the supine position that contributes to physical recovery and stress relief. Ideal for all levels, this class cultivates a sense of calm, balance and rejuvenation.
