In this module you will delve into the anatomy of the energy body and its connection to the physical anatomy and the nervous system. You will explore prana, its flow and practices to regulate it. You will study the three main energy channels - Ida, Pingala and Sushumna - and their relationship to the brain and nervous system. You will focus on the seven main energy centers (Chakras), learning how to adapt Asana, Pranayama and Meditation to support their flow, as well as cleansing and balancing techniques. You will explore the use of embodied movement, art therapy (sound, color, voice) and Yoga Nidra for each chakra, as well as the concept of Archetypal Activation. Finally, you will learn how to design yoga classes inspired by the energetic body, enhancing both your teaching practice and your personal growth.

  • Some of the modules you will attend have a preparation (work and practice) that must be done BEFORE they start. In this way, you create a framework in which you place the knowledge and experiences you will gain from each module!
  • After completing the 11 teaching modules and to complete the certification of the Advanced 500h Yoga Teacher Training Course, you will need to carry out specific hours of personal study and practice, the contents of which will be communicated to you when you register for the training program.
200hr Yoga Teaching Training
PREREQUISITES
  • This training is aimed at yoga teachers who have a certification of at least 200 hours of training. The certification should be sent to [email protected] before the start of the program.
  • Completed registration form (you can download it from the website).
  • Personal contact with the program director, Elena Mouratidou, and the person in charge of the training programs
  • In-advance deposit to reserve a seat.
  • Certification from a general practitioner that the trainee is allowed to practice yoga and free gymnastics during the training program.

FAQ’S

How much time do I have to complete the program?

The educational program can be completed within one to two academic years and you can choose either the entire educational program (all 12 modules), or parts of it according to your needs. As the modules are self-contained, you have the freedom to start the program from any module you want!

Upon completion of the program, you will receive an official diploma certifying that you have successfully attended the "Advanced 500hr Yoga Teacher Training", certified as a yoga teacher (Advanced Level) by Anahata Yoga Academy and you can teach in Greece and abroad. The program is fully recognized by the International Organization Yoga Alliance USA, and if you wish, you can register as a Yoga Alliance RYT-500!

To obtain the Advanced Yoga 500hr Teacher Training certification you must have attended the entire training program (all 11 teaching modules without any absences), completing all required assignments and practices before the start of each module, and completing the entire Internship.

No, this program is a deep experiential training based on group interaction and live streaming! Nevertheless, in exceptional cases and after consultation with the director of the academy, the recording can be sent, although and as long as your absence is limited to ¼ of a unit.

Yes, the cost can be paid either in installments or by paying the whole amount before the start (preferential price). Call us and we will find the most suitable solution to support you!
