Project Manager

I'm Anthi Malta, a certified yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer with over 1800 hours of training.

 

I hold an undergraduate degree from the Accounting and Finance department of the University of Macedonia and a master's degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Tilburg. I have worked for years in multinational consulting companies in the field of technology consulting.

 

I was born and raised in Greece, while I have lived in Spain and the Netherlands. Through a months-long personal search trip in Colombia, my yoga journey began. Eager to delve deeper into the science of yoga and self-exploration, I completed the 200-hour basic yoga teacher training at Anahata Yoga Academy. This is how I met my teacher Elena Mouratidou and decided to continue training alongside her and devote myself to the path of yoga.

 

I graduated from the 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training and continued to develop by completing more experiential trainings at Anahata Yoga Academy (Mentorship Teacher Training, Transform Your Life Training). Through them I acquired tools for the development of my teaching, the deeper connection with students, the cultivation of empathy, as well as tools for personal empowerment.

 

Having experienced the healing influence of connecting mind and body through breathing, I chose to delve deeper into the art of Vinyasa Yoga. So I trained alongside world-renowned teachers like Shiva Rea and Noah Maze in the ancient science of Vinyasa. I have also attended workshops by Sri Dharma Mittra and Srivatsa Ramaswami. In my classes I convey to students the concept of flow and connection to the present through movement as tools to explore and expand human boundaries.

My goal is to share the science of yoga as one through meditation through body movement, releasing suppressed emotions and experiencing spiritual and physical release. Moments in nature, quality time with loved ones, and traveling exploring different cultures are sources of energy in my life.

Gentle Yoga Flow & Yoga Nidra

A combination of conscious movement in flow, breathing and deep relaxation, through yoga postures that cultivate flexibility and soften tension. The class concludes with Yoga Nidra, a meditative form of deep relaxation in the supine position that contributes to physical recovery and stress relief. Ideal for all levels, this class cultivates a sense of calm, balance and rejuvenation.
