Mirto Nikologianni
Specialization: Adapted physical activity and therapeutic exercise
I am Myrto Nikologiannis, a certified yoga teacher and specialist in adapted physical activity and therapeutic exercise.
I was born and raised in Athens but also in Kythira, expressing from a child my love for movement, dance and sports. I graduated from the School of Physical Education and Sports Science of the AUTH with a specialization in adapted physical activity and therapeutic exercise. In parallel with my studies, I completed my degree as a dance teacher, as well as training in the Pilates method.
My interest in a holistic approach to exercise led me in 2017 to Anahata Yoga Studio, next to my favorite teacher and mentor, Elena Mouradidou. My life-changing path began with the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course, and deciding to go deeper, I went ahead and completed Anahata Yoga Academy's 500hr Teacher Training Course alongside the most qualified teachers.
Always remaining a student on the path of personal development alongside Elena, I have completed self-improvement seminars and taken part in the unforgettable and deeply transformative experiential self-awareness training 100hr Transformational Life TRAINING in Pelion that helped me recognize and invest in my inexhaustible potential. I have been deeply inspired by my trip to India, by Sri Dharma Mittra's teaching in London and also by specialized seminars that I have attended from time to time in Greece and abroad.
Deeply loving education, I participated in two Mentorship Trainings with the aim of developing my teaching, gaining important tools as well as new skills that multifacetedly enrich my contact with the students and with myself. Since 2021 I participate as a trainer in the 200-hour basic training programs of Anahata Yoga Academy.
I am also active in the tourism sector as I manage the Porto Delfino Hotel in Kythira. With relevant experience in the field of wellness, I have created a unique wellness area for those looking for contact with nature, self-care, physical and mental health. In recent years we have been hosting Yoga Retreats at our hotel with teachers from Greece and abroad, while at the same time I teach group yoga classes live and online as well as individual sessions to practitioners of different nationalities and of all ages.
My goal is to communicate the method of yoga and all its benefits as a tool that can improve our way of life and our mentality.
