Trainer

I am Apostolos Vontas. I grew up and live in Thessaloniki. With studies at the Polytechnic School of Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree in Informatics, I have been active in the field of research on innovative IT and their applications since 2000. Since 2011, I am the founder and director of a private research and technological development center based in Greece and Cyprus.

The demands of the intense and competitive professional environment and the modern stressful lifestyle, led me for the first time in 2019 to yoga, Anahata Yoga Studio and Anahata Yoga Academy. This journey began with my beloved teacher and mentor, Elena Mouratidou, but also with Nancy Xizanidou, Artemis Andrikakis and Alexandra Palantza. Two years later I successfully complete the basic 200hr yoga teacher training at Anahata Yoga Academy and then I decided to deepen my training, with the aim of developing and developing my personal teaching by completing the Advanced Yoga 500hr Teacher Training of Anahata Yoga Academy.

Inspired by my own journey of inner introspection and experiential experience of the philosophy of yoga in my life and in my company, my main goal is to spread yoga as a comprehensive guide on how to manage and enjoy the gift of life and the magic of the world around him.

My main motivation is the experiential application of yoga in everyday life, where with small steady steps, we improve the observation of ourselves, our body and our emotions. We create a personality that will last, with an open heart and an active body, with fewer fluctuations of mind and without judgment.

Gentle Yoga Flow & Yoga Nidra

A combination of conscious movement in flow, breathing and deep relaxation, through yoga postures that cultivate flexibility and soften tension. The class concludes with Yoga Nidra, a meditative form of deep relaxation in the supine position that contributes to physical recovery and stress relief. Ideal for all levels, this class cultivates a sense of calm, balance and rejuvenation.
