I am Maria Kokkalidou certified yoga teacher and Aerial Specialist.

I was born in 1981 in Thessaloniki, where I grew up. I graduated in 2006 from
public IEK of Fashion and Clothing Design. Then I worked at her place
fashion and at the same time catering for several years.
From an early age I was involved in various sports activities, such as rhythmic,
swimming pool, ballet and volleyball.

My relationship with Yoga started purely out of curiosity for something different in my life. This was followed by the contact and acquaintance with the Anahata Yoga studio and Elena Mouratidou.

attended and completed the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course of Anahata Yoga Academy in 2015. This was followed by the Aerial and Aerial Therapeutics Teacher Training Course, the Prenatal – Postnatal Teacher Training Course, the Advanced Yoga 500h Teacher Training Course and the TTC mentorship of Anahata Yoga Academy. At the same time, I have attended seminars in Acro Yoga, fitness, nutrition, alternative therapies as well as Thai massage.

Dedicated student of Elena Mouratidou, I have been sharing my Yoga practice since 2016 through my own experiential journey and specialization in Aerial Yoga, while also later having an active role in the Anahata Yoga Academy as a trainer.

Gentle Yoga Flow & Yoga Nidra

A combination of conscious movement in flow, breathing and deep relaxation, through yoga postures that cultivate flexibility and soften tension. The class concludes with Yoga Nidra, a meditative form of deep relaxation in the supine position that contributes to physical recovery and stress relief. Ideal for all levels, this class cultivates a sense of calm, balance and rejuvenation.
