I am Areti Tzirou, certified yoga and acroyoga teacher.


My childhood is rooted in Thessaloniki, where I began το train early in artistic gymnastics
and ballet. I am a specialized greek medieval literature teacher with a MA
in Theatre Studies from Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki.


Ι have completed the 200 hours Yoga Teachers’ Training from EyZein Academy in Thessaloniki. Right after I studied
next to well-aknowledged teachers, such as Konstantinos Karafoulidis, Giannis Giaples, Meghan Currie
Krishnatakis, Jason Nemer and Alexandra Ruiz. In 2013 I obtain my second degree as an aerial yoga teacher under the guidance of Tanya Popovic In 2015 I finished
both level 1 (basic) and level 2 (advanced) teacher trainings in acrobatic yoga (ΑcroYoga) after travelling
in Barcelona and Mexico. Since then I have been sharing my love for the practice by creating and teaching workshops all around Greece, Cyprus
and Italy.
Later on 2017 I attended Prenatal Fitness Workshop (Human Mama Level: 1)
taught by Athanasia Zourladani, a specially designed educational programme for teaching women during their pregnancy. A few years
after, I completed Yoga & Kids World programme led by
by Cayetana Rodenas, as well as my pilates teacher training led by Dimitra Savvaki of MP .

have been committed to working with KETHEA-ITHAKI Rehabilitation Centre as a volunteer, designing and teaching yoga classes at their official premises.
At the same time, I am a solid collaborator of the OmSweetOm Yoga Studio, in Thessaloniki’s city centre.
During summers you can find me organizing my retreats and workshops
s at Home of Silence Retreat Center in Kalamata area.

Ideal for all levels, this class cultivates a sense of calm, balance and rejuvenation.

Hatha Yoga

Ένα ολοκληρωμένο μάθημα hatha yoga που περιλαμβάνει τεχνικές
αναπνοών (pranayama), σταθερές και άνετες θέσεις (asanas), τεχνικές χαλάρωσης
και τεχνικές διαλογισμού. Ιδανικό για όσους θέλουν να κλείσουν τη μέρα τους
