200 Hours Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

In Anahata Yoga Academy, we use the Mysore Style of Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training. The class is not “led” but the students follow the steps at their own pace while the teacher seeks to help every student individually. This helps the student immensely with their practice as well as give them an experience of how guiding and being guided in a class is done.

200 Hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

Hatha Yoga primarily guides one to practice forced and emphasized movements synchronized with breathing while Yin Yoga is a passive form of yoga where the breath is adjusted along with the asanas which passively stretch the joints. Hatha Yoga follows the ideology of Ahimsa, or Non-Violence towards others and self while still exuding a slight push.  In this course, you will be taught both Hatha Yoga as well as the basics about Yin yoga.

Bala is the director and teacher of the Anahata Yoga Academy, founded in 2016. He teaches Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga 200 hours teacher training courses. He is a passionate practitioner of the yogic tradition, and believes in sharing his experience and knowledge for the welfare of others. Bala is certified by the International Yoga Alliance at the highest level as one of the experienced & registered Yoga Teachers.

Praveen Reddy is RYT 250 & TTC (200 Hours) from The Yoga Institute, Mumbai.  Born and brought up in Bangalore he has accomplished several courses like Ashtanga yoga under the guidance of Sharat Jois in international festival of yogic heritage, Mysore & Happiness program from Art of Living under Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He has attended 3 workshops from Isha in Hatha Yoga . He has amazing alignment and adjustment skills in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga .

Heidi Sokka, RYT 500, is a Finnish women, Half of the year she works as a snow sports instructor in Lapland, Finland, but she has been instructing and coaching people in different physical activities for over ten years. She is certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Moreover, she has been practicing Bhakti Yoga for the past two years but her spiritual path started with Buddhist meditation over ten years ago.

She is a freelancer teaching at different yoga studios, private lessons in Shangai & Beijing, she has been practicing for more than 6 years now. She is good at activating people’s energy in class while ensuring safety in intense classes. She use psychology and philosophy to help people release their pressure and live mindful. She is a firm believer of Indian traditional scriptures.
